Toganmain Woolshed is applying for a grant to upgrade the wastewater system at the woolshed. Letters and messages of support from our community will make a real difference to the application, and a few sentences is all it takes.
The project
As more visitors come through the gate, the old wastewater facilities can no longer keep up. The upgrade would install:
- a commercial BioSeptic S3500 Aerated Wastewater Treatment System
- an extra 6,950-litre septic tank to handle the big flows on event days
- irrigation that reuses the treated water around the site.
That means safer, more reliable and more environmentally responsible facilities for open days, heritage tours, volunteer working bees and special events, and a stronger future for an important piece of Riverina heritage. So far in 2026, more than 1,100 visitors have come to our open days and events.
