Visiting Toganmain — where to stay and what to do

The Toganmain Woolshed Precinct sits on the Murrumbidgee River between Darlington Point and Carrathool, deep in the Riverina. Here is what to know about staying on site during an event, plus the best places to stay and things to see in the surrounding district.

Staying at Toganmain

Toganmain is a working heritage precinct, and facilities are limited. Camping and caravan parking with access to toilets, bathrooms and the kitchen is reserved for our volunteers.

Overnight caravans during events

When you are attending an event, we do welcome visitors to park a caravan overnight. A couple of things to know before you arrive:

  • Where: the front paddock between the shed and the highway — the same area day visitors use, so you are nice and close to the action.
  • Be self-contained: you will need your own facilities on board. We can’t have traffic moving through the main precinct while an event is running, so on-site amenities aren’t available to overnight visitors.

If you’d prefer powered sites, cabins, motel rooms or villas — or you’re making a longer trip of it — there’s a good range of accommodation nearby. The closest town is Darlington Point, just under half an hour away.
