As the sun sets over the plains, the historic yards and woolshed will come alive with music, conversation and twilight atmosphere.
Celebrate a special evening at the historic Toganmain Woolshed with cocktails, canapés, live music and finger food in a unique outback setting.
The evening begins in the newly uncovered paved forcing yards outside the woolshed — hidden beneath dirt for many years and now revealed once again — before continuing inside the shed for live entertainment and supper.
Inspired by the historic shearing “cutout” — the traditional celebration marking the completion of shearing — Cocktails in the Yard reimagines that spirit for a new generation at Toganmain.
Open Day
From 10:00am to 3:00pm, visitors can enjoy:
- Explore the historic woolshed
- Market stalls
- Historical displays
- Food and refreshments
Evening event ticket holders are welcome to remain on site after 3:00pm.
Cocktails in the Yard — Evening Event
Commences 5:30pm. An over 18s event featuring:
- Cocktails and canapés in the forcing yards
- Live music inside the woolshed — featuring Velvet Sessions
- Finger food throughout the evening
- A unique atmosphere in one of Australia's great historic shearing sheds
Live music by Velvet Sessions
Dress for an elegant evening in a working woolshed setting - smart casual country attire encouraged. Please note that, due to the uneven surfaces and historic woolshed flooring, high heels and stilettos must not be worn. Boots and flat shoes only.
Numbers for the evening event are limited — early booking is recommended.
Cocktails in the Yard tickets include admission to the daytime Open Day.

Need to Know
Getting there: Designated drivers and group transport are encouraged. A bus service runs from Coleambally via Darlington Point, departing 4:30pm, with the return trip leaving Toganmain at 10:30pm — $5.00 per person.
