Annual General Meeting

Our 2025 AGM will be held at the Darlington Point Sports Club on Wednesday, 26 November at 6:30 p.m.

The business of the meeting will be to present reports from the past year and to elect our office bearers and directors for the year ahead.

All are welcome to attend.

Restoration Progress at the Old Quarters

Work recently took place on the western side of the old quarters at Toganmain, where volunteers carefully jacked up the building to replace worn stumps and timbers.

Ray had his Lucas mill on site to mill timbers, ensuring the work stayed true to the original character. The team uncovered blacksmith-made bolts once holding the floor to the stumps—a striking reminder of past craftsmanship.

The crew worked steadily, and by the third day the quote emerged: "Still hard at it. Old buildings are very frustrating!"

Despite challenges, the work marked excellent progress and brought us closer to preserving this important piece of Toganmain's history.
